Existe um boletim de serviço da Audi informando que alguns pontos da tampa de válvulas necessitam de uma atenção maior. Ao colocar uma junta de tampa de válvulas nova, é necessário colocar um pouco de selante em 6 "pontos de transição críticos" (tradução ao pé da letra, que seriam pontos de vazamento). Antes disso é necessário retirar todos os resíduos de selante/óleo e limpar bem a superfície onde vai a junta.

Cylinder Head Cover Gasket installation
Before installing a new Cylinder Head Cover Gasket, it is necessary to apply a small amount of sealant on six critical transition points of the sealing surface on the cylinder head.
Before new sealant is applied:
^ Old sealant and oil residues must be removed (sealing surface must be thoroughly cleaned).
Tip:
This Technical Bulletin supercedes information currently included in the Repair Manual (AESIS). When the Repair Manual has been updated, this Bulletin will be removed.
Sealing transition points between double bearing cap and cylinder head (2 points):
- Apply a small quantity of sealant Part No: AMV 174 004 01 to sides of joints (arrows) on upper sealing surface of cylinder head.
Sealing camshaft adjuster/cylinder head transition (4 points)
- Apply a small quantity of sealant Part No: AMV 174 004 01 to sides of joints (arrows) on upper sealing surface of cylinder head.
Note:
Apply sealant before installing any gaskets.

Sealant is considered shop supplies and may not be claimed under warranty Also, additional time to add sealant is not claimable under warranty.
